President's Day

This is in honor of President's Day. I didn't get it posted in time. But Kelcee brought it home and I had to ask her who it was. Any guesses?

Our weekend project

(bathroom and closet)

These are not the greatest pictures, but hopefully everyone gets the idea. We are finally done hanging drive wall, and boy am I glad. I mainly used the drill and screwed in hundreds of screws, my hand hurt so bad I didn't know if it would ever work regularly again.

This week a professional will come and do all the mud and tape:)
We are getting closer and I am so excited to see the finished product.

Bed time at the Crosby's

Gavin loves trucks, cars, trains, basically anything that has wheels or moves. But the ultimate sacrifice is giving up your bed so that your Tonka trunk has a soft place to park. Boys, what do you do with them!

What I did this weekend

We had a lot of fun this weekend with Kelcee having a soccer game and Kelcee and Katie having primary activity day. But the thing I was most excited about was getting my curtain hung. I almost did it all by myself, but I couldn't drill the hole on the other side once I got one bracket on so Benjamin helped. Thanks!!!

#1 reason I miss Benjamin

Katie saw this on her way up to bed and she freaked out, she came for me and I took a flip flop to kill it. After I saw it I went back with another flip flop, then I decided I needed shoes on. Then I decided I did not want to get that close, so I sucked it up in the vacuum and now I am afraid it is going to climb out. So I called my Dad to see what the next step to spider removal entails. We decided to stuff the end of the vacuum with a towel, just in case it try's to climb out.

WOW, is January already over

This is how we spent our Saturday. We hung the drive wall on the ceiling and blew insulation in all day. It was a long day, but another step towards finishing. I can't wait for the extra space!!!

We found Gavin taking a nap under this chair, we thought it was really funny, but we were also excited that he would be rested up for church.

Kelcee made it to her 100th day of school. They made these awesome 100 glasses to celebrate!
If she looks sad in this picture it is because Gavin tore these glasses and we had to do some quick damage control and tape them back together for the picture. The glasses were as good as new, but Kelcee did not get over it as fast. (Too bad scotch tape doesn't work on Kelcee)
