Dr. Visits ROCK

This week was a lot of fun. On Tuesday we went to the Dr. for Katie and Gavin to get their well child check up and shots. I know it sounds like fun and everyone wants to call and make an apt. with theire MD right now. But be prepared to spend some time, as we all know what should be a quick trip is never quick we made it out in 2 hours. After all the waiting the Dr. came in and tried to check Gavin, while doing it Gavin kept trying to kick him with his cowboy boots. I was embaressed, but what can a Mom do. One of the funniest things they asked me to do is to have Katie pee in a cup, I just laughed at the nurse and said "no way!" That is a battle I can put off. Well Gavin had to have 2 shots and he took about 12 suckers to compensate for the wait time and the pain. Katie on the other hand had to have 4 shots and screamed and cried, before, during, and after. But, she took around 20 suckers to compinsate for all the emotional trauma and pain.
